Omaha Steaks - MINISCULE portion sizes !
I always thought it was overpriced but saw the TV Xmas ad for $188.00 worth of steaks for $49.99. So I fell for the ad.
The order arrived 2 days late but still frozen. I opened the boxes and .............WOW. The portion size of the steaks and chops is SO FRIKKING SMALL. Only 3 to 4 bites per steak.
The quality is no better than my local grocer. The pork is dry and tough, and there is little marbling in the steaks. It was a rip off even at $49.99. I will never buy again.
Ads look great but the tiny portion size is shocking. And to think the full price for what I got is $188.00 !!
OMG. If I had paid that for what I got I'd be litigating .
Reason of review: tiny portion size.
Monetary Loss: $65.

Omaha Steaks Cons: Tiny portion size.

I am guy who eats a 64 oz steak with no problem and and entire 6 Course (not a sweet tooth) with a 32oz. I only eat Boneless Strip Steaks.
These things are expensive appetizers for parties. I nearly fell for the ad in the article, but decided against it. This is a huge rip off. I would rather buy 2 huge steaks for $180.00 than the mess in the description - - ugh.
I have heard from others the quality is no better than the local supermarket chain.
Wow... Thank you

Yes, looks good in the ad---I saw one today in a magazine---but if you compute the price you are paying for the type and amount of items they send for $49.99 you can see it is a scam. Buy meat at local grocery stores when on sale. But, thanks for the confirmation of my deduction.
