Sour steaks

I received Omaha steak foods as a Christmas gift. The gift contained steaks, chicken Breast, pork chops etc. I have tried the pork chop and chicken Breast, however today i did a quick thaw of the steak ( ice cold water) rinsed the meat, dried it and it smells sweet. I thawed another ( this only takes 30 minutes) and it also smells. I’m not brave enough to eat it. I reside in Az and I fear the meat spoiled in transit. I’m disappointed I’ve always heard such good things about this product.

We were not thrilled to receive an Omaha package as a recent holiday gift. Past experience told us the products would be disappointing. The pork had no texture or flavor. The strip steaks were random cuts of beef and were tough, we are not looking forward to eating the filets, they are about 3/4 inch and look nothing like any filet mignon we have ever seen. The apple tartlets were the bright spot in our package. Our dilemma is how do we respond to those who gave us this gift. We need to thank them yet we don’t want to encourage a repeat of this gift.

Wrong order

i order a big order i got the 69.00 dollars plus extras they only shipped the 69.00 i did not get any burgers or sausage the lazana was freezer burned i called because i was missing 13 items and they told me thats what i ordered but they were wrong i did not get what i ordered i asked about free shipoping she said i would not get it unless i ordered extras but im missing 13 itmes what she said there were no papers to tell you what was in there the lady said i got the one for free shipping but i was willing to pay extra so i ordered more but got less they said there was a special i paid more for less i lost 13 items but got free shipping my mom ordere it here is the order number but she did not order that what they had done please call her she orders every christmas 3981**** it dont make sense what they gave her you paid more and got less her no. is 1-44*-886-**** the whole story is not making sense we have no papers with it what we ordered and it always has a reciept with it then they check off the lady put in the wrong order someone else got my order

Terrible!

I’ve bought several times this product is a complete rip-off! The portions are super small, the meat is tuff and anyone that buys or gives it as a gift is wasting their money! I will NEVER buy this product again! It’s a shame their website won’t allow you to complain!

Exceptionally over priced meats - quality not good, taste fair, tough and bland. Certainly not worth the money they charge.

Very disappointed in their quality of meats. Free shipping is the only time I will buy from Omaha.

I will possibly use the next$25 off $69 coupon - but that will be my last meat purchase. Cheesecake is pretty good, but - like everything else there - very overpriced.

Not what they advertise on TV

I ordered what the TV advertises for $59.95. What a complete sham!

The steaks are 4oz as well as the chicken and they're vacuum packed in plastic. What a disappointment. Nothing like they advertise on TV. Two bites and they're gone!

Don't waste your money on this con job.

Do yourself a favor and buy 2 T-bone steaks and two porterhouse steaks and keep the change to buy fries and drinks! They should get this company for fraudulent advertising.

Horrid Experience

I have ordered from this company in the past because family is out of state and its an easy thing to send.Not because the product is very good, basically because we need something for an elderly couple that has all they need and food is a good option as a gift for them.This family moved 10 months earlier and Omaha Steak sent it to the old address saying i placed the order online so it was my fault.I specifically made sure the correct address was entered rechecking it even.When the order was placed and confirmation was sent to me via email and i didn't recheck the address it was being sent to I only looked at the price charged to me.Not until i got a conformation that the package was delivered did we relies it was sent to the old address!!! It has been a total nightmare reaching out to them! I have called seven different times .Literally over two hours on hold alone!!! Still NO resolve!!! How can this company do this to people??? Our family has no Christmas gift now and we are out the money spent on their gift they never received!!!

Holiday gifts basket burgers

We received a holiday gifts basket. So far have cooked the burgers. Not sure if it was suppose to be beef? Color was almost white absoluteltey no taste. Were not even edible.

Same here worse tasting hamburgers I ever had. The bacon wrapped steaks taste terrible.

Its a shame someone spent good money to give us this as a gift.

Omaha steak touts it has grade A meat its not its pumped with water and has lots of fat. Save your money and go to a good meat counter even Aldi has better meat.

Thanks anyways but Never again!!!

There are a series of tell-tale signs just before one of a major U.S. companies closes it's doors for good. We've all seen and experienced it at some point. Sadly, this company is eerily following suit if it's not careful. There are dozens of poor reviews, scads of ignored customers with unfulfilled orders sitting idle while customer service flails about trying to keep promises. There is little doubt that the trust between consumer and this supplier will eventually grind to a halt causing it's own downfall. I placed my trust in this product for the first time a week ago. It seemed like the ideal gift. A great gift from such an iconic group. I have personally experienced just about every complaint listed above in one single purchase. I have made 2 identical orders to arrive BEFORE Christmas and received only 1 of them. after an ENTIRE day trying to reach someone at customer 'support', I was informed that the folks who's job it is to put meat in a box didn't do it right. But not to worry! They could rush it there only a few days AFTER the Holiday. Now I can show up that day empty handed with the satisfaction that I was given a reassured apology in light of their present. I for one, will N E V E R do any type of business again with these people and neither will my friends or family. They didn't even attempt to make things right or offer any type of compensation for what will eventually be a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT for HALF of the members of my family for Christmas. All I got was an apology as deep as a frisbee and a mountain of frustration.

The worst customer service ever

Well, they didn't deliver when they promised, then there was no way to talk to their customer service. They said they would call you back and hold your place in line-- no call after 5 and 1/2 hours. When you try to hold for customer service they just hang up on you after an hour on hold. You can be sure I WILL NEVER DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE ALSO SAID YOU COULD CHECK YOUR ORDER ON LINE BUT THEY NEVER SENT ME A CONFIRMATION E-MAIL WHICH WOULD HAVE HAD THE INFORMATION I NEEDED TO CHECK MY ORDER. bad Angry Angry and it's not easy to get me angry

Horrible

We have gotten Omaha Steaks for several years as a gift even though we asked it to be stopped. The meat is a very poor quality in which they use meat tenderizer (can't even eat them!). The cost is way too expensive. Hamburgers have a filler in them. They have a cod wrapped crab cake that the dog will not eat. If you are going to spend your money get it from SCHWAN's. I've used them for over 20 years and their food is quality!

I saw advertised AGAIN just now on TV and decided I would check comments from customers before I spend my hard earned money. I have yet to see positive feedback. All comments say small portions, greasy and tough so I will save my money for the market to buy what I can see what I am getting.

spent 60$ on a holiday promotion, I added the lobster to get the total over 100$. The gift was for my father for Christmas. He informed me that half the meat never arrived. I contacted omaha steaks and they offered me a 30$ gift coupon. I DONT WANT A *** COUPON JUST SEND ME WHAT I PAID FOR.

Not worth the money

Don't waste your money on this. The pieces you get are very small and leave you hungry. How many restaurants offer a 5oz filet? They usually offer an 8oz filet as a smaller portion. The 5oz burgers are small also. If you go to Burger King or McDonalds the smaller burgers are a half pound, or 8oz for those who don't know. There are better companies who offer more and the prices are higher but at least you get what you pay for.

I'm glad I checked this out before I ordered their Christmas ad this year. I had heard the portions were very small and tuff!

I'll stick to my local butcher and see what I'm paying for in advance! Their ad must use close ups to make the steaks and other products look larger than they are.

Dont do it!

Well it was a gift so I guess i didnt lose out except for not having dinner. The steaks were small to begin with, cook them they shrink even more!

I have two boys after "dinner" i had to take them out for more food.

These were not even snack size, pathetic! Meat was tough, tine and tasteless no matter hiw good you are at cooking or grilling....NASTY!
